Issue. Requirements in the project are usually organized in a database, therefore it's necessary to develope numbering system for detecting and managing requirements through the project.

Solution. Every item will receive unique ID which consists of two or three letters (abbreviation of the contract volume or any other requirements source) and running number. In case of later on splitting of the requirement to more then a one, a letter a/b/c will be added to the unique ID.
